Free Overdose Rescue Training

06/07/2022- Cityline Ozone Park Civilian Patrol, in collaboration with the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports, will host a Free Overdose Rescue Training in Ozone Park, Queens. The training teaches participants to recognize, respond to, and reverse an opioid overdose using Naloxone.

“During 2020, New York City boroughs were among the highest ED visits and hospitalizations for opioid overdoses, and Naloxone administrations by EMS.” – NYS Dept. of Health. Families in our community have been torn apart due to overdoses. This training gives everyone the ability to obtain the equipment and training to save lives.

The training is free and open to everyone 16 years of age and above. The training includes certification and an overdose rescue kit. Registration is required. Please visit copcp.org/naloxone.
