Last evening, David Orkin, a candidate for New York State Assembly District 38, stopped by Masjid Al Aman, the largest mosque in our area, where he greeted members of the community and members of COPCP.
As a nonprofit organization, COPCP cannot and does not endorse candidates for public office. However, we believe it is important for those seeking to represent our community to spend time in the neighborhoods they hope to serve, engage directly with residents, and see firsthand the work being done by local organizations and volunteers.
