Last month we lost a community member on Liberty Avenue to a tragic accident caused by a pothole. Since then, Mayor Mamdani and Governor Hochul have both made commitments to getting these streets fixed. We are glad to hear it and we intend to hold them to it.
Our team has been out reporting potholes across the neighborhood. When we submit multiple complaints back to back, the confirmation numbers we receive are nearly sequential. In a city of eight million people, that should not be possible. It tells us that almost no one else is filing reports in between ours, and that is a serious problem. The city can only fix what gets reported.
If every person reading this reported just one pothole today, the difference would be immediate and measurable.
If you see a pothole, report it. If a pothole was already filled but the repair did not hold, report that too.

(If you don’t have time to fill out the forms just DM or text us, we are happy to help.)
Let’s get our streets fixed together.
