Last week, a mother contacted us after spotting a used needle on the sidewalk she and her children take to school every morning. We responded immediately and made proper disposal of the needle.
Our members are put through overdose prevention training and we carry Narcan, fentanyl test strips, and other overdose prevention items. We do our best to be prepared for moments like these.
