 CITYLINE OZONE PARK CIVILIAN PATROL (COPCP) HOSTS THANKSGIVING FOOD PANTRY

The Ozone Park Pantry hosted by COPCP distributed Thanksgiving Food Essentials just in time for Thursday, serving over 450 families. They received a turkey, various fresh produce, gravy, stuffing, dry goods, and canned goods. The food donations came from the community, Food Bank NYC, and the Campaign Against Hunger.

Queens Borough President Donovan Richards, Senator Joe Addabbo, Senator Roxanne Persaud, Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar, Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato, Council Member Elect Joann Ariola, and Rohan from the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit were in attendance as they helped distribute food to the families in need and expressed their gratitude towards the pantry volunteers who have been serving the community for the past year and a half.

Frank Dardani from The Ozone Tudor Civic Association, Kenichi Wilson and James Mcleland from Community Board 9, NYPD 106 Auxiliaries, the NYPD 102nd Precincts NCO’s and Community Affairs officers, the NYPD 75th Precincts NCO A officers, the team from Commonpoint Queens, and the members of the QUEENS COMMUNITY LIONS CLUB were also in attendance as they helped with the distribution.

This event was hosted by the Cityline Ozone Park Civilian Patrol in collaboration with Senator Joe Addabbo, Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar, Council member Darma Diaz, Council Member Elect Joann Ariola, Food Bank NYC Campaign Against Hunger, Common Point Queens, Community Board 9, the Ozone Tudor Civic Association, Our Neighbors Civic Association of Ozone Park, Queens Community Lions Club, Kiwanis Club of Ozone Park, United Bangladesh American Youth Association, Hill’s Pest Management, Madani Halal, Ozone Park Facebook Group, and Howard Beach Dads.
