On Saturday, September 10th, 2022, New York State Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar presented COPCP with a $90,000 allocation for our vital community services.
This funding will greatly help the residents of City Line, Ozone Park, Woodhaven, South Richmond Hill / Little Guyana, and beyond through COPCP’s food pantry, civilian patrol, community beautification, snow removal, disaster relief, youth mentoring, and liaison programs. For the past two years, our board members, volunteers, donors, and small grants have helped cover the expenses of our operations. COPCP’s expenses include vehicle and volunteer insurance, rent for storage and office space, uniforms, patrol training and equipment, pantry equipment, food transportation, vehicle maintenance, gas, outreach materials, events and giveaways, and covering expenses for victims of domestic violence and disasters.
COPCP is beyond grateful for Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar and New York State’s investment in our work and recognition of the importance of our mission.
