COPCP celebrated the Lunar New Year with a festive event this past Saturday. The celebration showcased beautiful performances and delicious food, celebrating the vibrant heritage and traditions of our growing Asian community, reminding us of the importance of sharing and understanding each other’s cultures.
The event featured performances by the Happiness Chinese Dances and the Mayo Academy – Kickboxing & MMA. The delicious food was generously donated by Shivram’s Bakery Inc., Trini Delite Roti Shop, Island Girls Kitchen, and various families who attended.
Thank you, Senator Roxanne Persaud, Raimondo Graziano from Senator Joe Addabbo’s office, Assemblywoman Jenifer Rajkumar, Councilwoman Joann Ariola, and Patricia from the Mayor’s Community Affairs Unit for always supporting our efforts and joining us to celebrate this special occasion and thank you Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato and all of our electeds for honoring those who made this possible.
