🚨 COMMUNITY UPDATE
You may have seen information circulating earlier today on the Citizen app and social media regarding reported threats toward the Muslim community near 97th Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard.
The 102nd Precinct has advised us there is no credible threat to the Muslim community at this time. The incident was determined to have been falsified; the individual who made the original complaint admitted to providing false information to police and will be arrested for doing so.
There is no cause for concern related to this incident at this time. As always, we remind everyone to remain vigilant, be aware of your surroundings, and report suspicious activity to 911.
