Last night, an off duty COPCP volunteer discovered an unresponsive man inside a vehicle and immediately called 911 and alerted our members over the radio. Multiple COPCP volunteers responded, and EMS sadly pronounced the man deceased at the scene.
Our members remained on scene for several hours, helping to move crowds away from the vehicle and blocking the public’s view as the Medical Examiner carried out their work.
Every person deserves privacy, dignity, and respect. Our volunteers did everything they could to make sure this neighbor received exactly that.
