There is still a lot of confusion about the future of the former Aqueduct Racetrack property. Many people believe it is already going to Resorts World. It is not. In recent months, we have seen flooding in Centerville, along North Conduit Avenue, Hawtree Street, and roads immediately surrounding Aqueduct and Resorts World.
If we are already seeing flooding and infrastructure concerns with what exists today, how will the surrounding neighborhoods handle major new development, additional housing, more traffic and potentially thousands of new residents?
